This unique opportunity will see you complete your traineeship located in Leichhardt, with a mix of on the job and education.

If you are prepared to work hard, start at the bottom, and commit to a traineeship that involves on-site work for 3 days per week while we support you to study at TAFE for 2 days per week, this could be exactly what you have been searching for.
What you can expect:
Reporting to the Production Manager you will work to a formalised training plan to develop skills and knowledge required in the Lighting/entertainment industry including warehouse preparation, packing and unpacking of lighting equipment and artworks, as well as preparing productions for delivery to site and finally, development and installation of lighting projects.
At the same time, you will be completing a Certificate III in Live Production & Technical Services at TAFE. Our goal is for you to complete this traineeship and continue on your exciting career as a qualified Lighting Technician with our client who have a reputation as once of the best in the industry.
About you:
• You are ideally a school leaver who has completed their HSC recently or within the last couple of years
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Naturally inquisitive when it comes to creativity, innovation and technology
• Basic console skills or a desire to learn
• Attention to detail
• A Police Clearance and ability to travel both interstate and internationally
• Work collaboratively as part of a team
• Self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude
• Proactive nature with the ability to work autonomously
• Unrestricted driving licence and car required
