The right candidate will be responsible for:
Assisting with personal care, such as daily hygiene and getting dressed
Helping with household chores, such as cooking, laundry and cleaning
Taking clients grocery shopping
Transporting clients to medical appointments
Providing social support to clients and helping them engage in social activities
Providing emotional support and an open ear;
Encouraging and supporting the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests;
Teaching life skills, such as shopping, using public transport, etc
About you:
At least 2 years of experience as a Disabled Carer;
Strong interpersonal skills;
Strong empathy, patience and active listening skills;
Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide outstanding care;
Job type: Permanent/full-time
Salary: $60,000 - $75,000
