Randstad are currently looking to recruit an experienced Engineering Manager for our client Queensland Rail.

Purpose of the role:
• Deliver value-focused signalling engineering and management to deliver quality, commercially focused outcomes across Queensland Rail.
Main Duties and Accountabilities:
• Provide engineering expertise in the development of project scope and delivery methodologies.
• Lead delivery of signal engineering design
• Advise, guide and support projects in demonstrating compliance with relevant QR systems engineering and assurance processes.
• Managing the implementation of solutions and interpreting specifications.
• Provide leadership to ensure projects are progressed in accordance with performance and standards requirements
• Manage recourses and project deliverables.
• Create an environment which promotes and values professional integrity and business-focused engineering practice through leadership and guidance.
What we are looking for in a candidate:
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
• Extensive knowledge of railway safe working principles
• High level of skill in meeting statutory, regulatory and policy obligations, particularly in relation to satisfying the safety environment, contract processes and human resources requirements in a commercially focused business.
• Knowledge of and willingness to commit to and work within Queensland Rail's values and behaviors.
