Nortec IT Solutions are looking for an experienced Software Engineer (Team Leader Hospitality Engineer) for an immediate start. This position is a full-time ongoing position, working 38 hours per week based in Castle Hill, NSW.
The Software Engineer (Team Leader Hospitality Engineer) will be responsible for the following duties:
• Improving system quality by identifying issues and common patterns, and developing standard operating procedures
• Enhancing applications by identifying opportunities for improvement, making recommendations, and designing and implementing systems
• Writing, maintaining, and improving existing codebases and peer review code changes.
• Liaising with colleagues to implement technical designs.
• Investigating and using new technologies where relevant, where there are limitations and/or inefficiencies.
• Providing written knowledge transfer material by writing end-user documentation and operational procedures,
For this position it is expected that you would possess the following qualifications/work experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher relevant qualification.
• Oracle Simpony Certifications with a minimum of two years of hands-on experience in both implementation and support. It must include all of the following modules.
? Reporting and Analytics
? Inventory
? Database
? API Programming
? Backend programming and coding
Professional Certifications required for the role include.
? Oracle Simphony Pre-Sales Support
? Oracle Simphony Engineer Certification
? Microsoft Certification as an administrator or a professional (MCP or MCSA)
? Java and .Net programming
