The Role:
We are currently seeking a motivated Senior Security Architect to join our high performing cyber security practice. You will have experience with discussing, scoping, proposing, selling and delivering a range of projects for a range of clients from various industry verticals and will be a proficient Security Architect with expert knowledge of systems and/or networks and architectural frameworks and approaches. You will also ideally possess an IRAP Assessor certification.
Responsibilities
- Assist in a Pre-sales capacity, demonstrating solutions and guiding customers through their requirement for security solutions
- Deliver security projects including initial client workshops to understand technical specifications and the creation of project deliverables such as High-Level Designs, Detailed-Level Designs, Implementation & Test Plans and As-Built Documents
- Conduct technical workshops, GRC audits and presentations to deliver to a technical audience
- Consult across a variety of security disciplines including infrastructure security, security solution design, risk management and web & application security
- 5+ years' experience as a Security Architect with expert knowledge in the areas of security architecture & security infrastructure
- Ability to review new and existing Information Technology projects for information security compliance by developing, documenting, and communicating adherence to architecture, blueprints, components, standards, and strategies
- Consult across a wide variety of information security disciplines including infrastructure security, security solution design, risk management, web, and application security
- Strong technical writing and risk assessment experience
- Problem-solving, critical thinking and time management abilities
- Working knowledge of international security and risk-related standards or frameworks such as SABSA, CISSP, ASD8, NIST, ISO-27000 series, PCI and GDPR
- A certified IRAP Assessor or pursuing the IRAP Assessor certification
- Design experience for SWG, CASB, PAM, VM and other security controls is highly desired
- Outstanding written and communication skills including experience with an executive audience
