Autonomous and national role – make your mark in Bega
Cement development into a great Project Management career
Use your project management experience to deliver a wide range of logistics and optimisation projects to deliver to the business nationally.
About the role
We currently are looking for a National Route Projects Lead to identify, lead, and execute centrally-led Route projects across the Bega Logistics route network. Assists in prioritising value adding activity and assist implementation of change through the state networks. Proactively identify opportunities and solutions to reduce cost or improve service or other agreed outcomes to increase the sustainability of the Bega route transport network.
Other responsibilities
Project manage agreed initiatives across state-based route operations and through other stakeholders from planning through to benefit tracking
Manage continuous improvement initiatives including writing business cases, cost-benefit analysis, stakeholder engagement and communication planning, activity planning, implementation and benefits tracking
Develop a route improvement roadmap annually and report on Route Excellence program monthly.
Conduct assurance reviews within the project, facilitate the delivery of assurance reviews by independent third parties, and take appropriate action to resolve any issues identified so that senior stakeholders have confidence that the project can deliver to time, budget, and quality.
Support other relevant initiatives through the Bega Logistics Plan, including standardisation opportunities across the state-based operations.
About you
Project Management or Coordination in Transport experience
Have a continuous improvement and analytical mindset
Understanding of designing and implementing process improvement, change management and governance frameworks
Delivery of project or program performance targets and risk management
Proven communication skills with the ability to lead meetings and stakeholder engagement experience
