Your focus will involve identifying ways to assist them and their teams in achieving crucial face-time, ultimately influencing prospective buyers through participation in our conferences. Benefits On Offer for the right candidate: Opportunity to be a key contributor to the overall growth of the team Being part of an outgoing, dynamic team where everybody pulls together to deliver Training, coaching and development from some of the most experienced people in the industry Genuine career progression opportunities Based in our modern central Sydney CBD office Task & Responsibilities Develop and implement sales strategies to promote Akolade's conferences to both private and public sector organisations Lead, source and build list of potential clients through research i.e. directories, exhibitions, association members, etc. Research on competitor landscape, identifying trends and market dynamics Identify customers' needs and recommend the conferences and the correct channels Negotiate prices and close deals including contract management Regular follow ups with client's to ensure client satisfaction Weekly reporting of your sales pipeline to your sales management team Qualification & Experience The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:  A university bachelor degree and / or five years relevant experience in lieu of qualification At least two years strong and relevant experience in delegate sales in conferences with proven ability to be customer focused and have the ability to clearly communicate value propositions and focus on new business development. Proactive and driven attitude with a strong desire to achieve and exceed sales targets Be open-minded, a team-player and contributor of ideas and feedback to continuously improve sales practice Ability to work autonomously and thrive on the motivation of success About Company At Akolade, we deliver leading-edge, in-depth researched events designed to aid our clients in improving their business bottom line.
