Due to growth and expansion of Tristar Group, we at our new dealership, Daimler Trucks Shepparton are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Technical Sales Representative to join our service and parts department. DT Shepparton will retail the globally recognised products of Mercedes Benz, Freightliner & FUSO Trucks and quality pre-owned vehicles. We have a dedicated and highly experienced Sales, Service and Parts team.
About the role:
We are seeking for an experienced Technical Sales Representative with experience working as a Parts Interpreter/Parts Analyst and or as a Service Advisor who is both dedicated, enthusiastic, and looking for a new challenge in the commercial vehicle service and parts industry. If you believe you are eager to learn, ambitious, honest, coachable and have a passion for not only helping others but succeeding expectations, and looking for your next exciting, stable and successful career opportunity working with the most advanced heavy transport industry brands, this could be it.
• Market, source, sell and supply parts to our valued customers by responding to all front counter, email, and phone enquiries in a timely manner.
• Efficiently generate parts sales invoices and vendor purchase orders.
• Establish and maintain relationships with customers by providing an exceptional customer service experience.
• Keep service customers informed on the progress of the service of their vehicle.
• Investigate and analyse parts movement and inventory movement and work practices to identify areas for improvement and evaluate potential solutions.
• Assist with parts warehousing administration including stock take.
• Increasing and maximising all parts sales which will involve liaising with client base and formulating and implementing sales and marketing plans and strategies as necessary.
• Ensure all customer’s requirements are promptly and accurately quoted and invoiced correctly as needed.
• Monitor and action the quotes and requests from the external quoting platforms.
• Verify that all customer needs have been fulfilled.

The successful candidate will possess:
• Bachelor’s in Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field is preferred but not necessary.
• Demonstratable technical sales experience and or experience as a parts analyst, parts interpreter, service advisor or in a similar role.
• Exceptional customer service skills, including phone and written communication.
• Strong attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Be self-motivated and team orientated.
• Good administration, sound time management and organizational skills.
• Previous experience in a similar role will be highly regarded, but not essential.
• Reliable and punctual person with a “Can Do Approach”.
• Australian Drivers Licence.
• AUTO IT experience is desirable but not required.
• Forklift Licence (preferred but not essential).
