Our client,River Cruz Cafe Bundaberg QLD is looking to employ BAKERS/PASTRYCOOKS in multiple positions at River Cruz Cafe. The positions will be on a full-time basis with a salary ranging from 60-80K AUD per annum plus superannuation which will be negotiable to the right candidate.
You will be required to do the following duties:
Mixing, preparing, weighing and measuring ingredients for the preparation of goods.
Decorating pastries using different icings, toppings, etc., ensures the presentation will be beautiful and exciting.
Glazing buns and pastries and decorating cakes with cream and icing
Craft artisan sourdoughs, gourmet pies, pastries, cakes, and tarts
Monitor stocks for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar etc. and make appropriate orders within budget for management.
Check the quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking.
Complying with food hygiene and safety requirements.
Keep a sanitised and orderly environment in the kitchen.
Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.
Keeping accurate records.
Operating a variety of kitchen equipment.
Maintaining a clean and hygienic work even environment.
Plan & prepare the production and schedule.
To be considered for this role, you should:
Be willing to relocate if you are interstate or in other cities.
Be available on both days at weekends and be able to work split shifts.
Certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking or relevant field
Qualified Baker/ Pastry Cook with 2-3 years of experience
Ability to work in a team.
Very good communication skills
