About the Job
Join a leading drilling company in Australia that specializes in diverse drilling projects. As a Geotechnical Driller, you will play a crucial role in executing environmental and geotechnical drilling programs. This includes working on various drill programs using different rigs within our extensive fleet. Candidates with a willingness to work remotely are highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct drilling and related activities on a range of drill programs.
Operate various rigs within the company's fleet.
Ensure the successful execution of environmental and geotechnical drilling projects.
About you
2 years minimum drilling experience.
Cert III in Drilling or its industry equivalent.
Current First Aid Certificate (preferred but not mandatory).
Current Driver's licence - Truck licence
Construction Industry / White Card
Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screening
Previous experience or knowledge in the following drilling types:
Soil boring and rock coring.
Testing with automatic SPT hammers.
Installation of piezometers, tensiometers, and inclinometers.
Installation of grout curtains and dewatering systems.
Single or straddle packers testing (Lugeon test).
