As our business continues to grow internationally, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor (Senior Consultant) to join our Brisbane team!
The role offers the opportunity to work across the fields of project planning and scheduling, cost management and claims on significant infrastructure, road and mining & resources projects.
In order to be considered, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and expertise:
*A minimum of 5 years' post graduate experience in relevant quantity surveying or cost management roles.
*Tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Engineering.
*Creating and maintaining tools for budget control according to cost plans.
*Estimate and maintain accurate construction cost estimates throughout the project lifecycle.
*Identifying project and engineering problems through application of engineering technology and project planning methodology.
*Analysing, preparing and implementing construction staging plans.
*Preparing pre-construction management plan and building construction methodology reports.
*Determining and interpreting construction methods, procedures, materials and quality standards.
*Experience in the pre-construction feasibilities and cost planning.
*Experienced in contract administration including change management on projects.
*Experienced in commercial management and interpretation of cost data.
*Experienced in taking a lead role and interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages.
*Leading a cost management team, ensuring that they deliver on all of the above accountabilities.
*Experience in using tools such as CostX and PowerBi.
