Engineer Duties
• Reporting to a Project Manager, you will be responsible for duties including:
• Coordination of activities and forecasting your scope of works to ensure a timely and efficiently delivered project
• Completion of tenders for our various clients
• Cost Tracking of all onsite activities and reporting to management on regular intervals
• Management of procurement of plant, materials and subcontractors
• Setting out of projects;
• Liaising with Project Managers and clients on technical matters
• Assisting the Project Manager with documenting variations
• Assisting in the development of site-specific Safe Work Method Statements
• Ensuring all works conform to relevant specifications and current drawings
• Providing technical instructions to construction staff and solving site problems as required
• Preparing ‘as-constructed’ drawings.
• Developing and customising of inspection and test plans for each project
• Assisting Site Managers in the completion of ITPS
• Working with the Safety team to ensure strong safety focus including doing regular site inspections
Qualifications and requirements
Candidates must have 2-3 years’ experience as an Engineer, or in a similar role. A degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering or equivalent and must have experience in Microsoft Office, Project, etc.
