Role: Production Engineer
Location: V&V Walsh Bunbury

The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager at the V&V Walsh facility, we are seeking an experienced Production Engineer who will manage projects to ensure quality, timeliness of construction and on-budget implementation, liaising with all relevant stakeholders and communicating the progress of the project, milestones achieved, and maintaining momentum of the project.
Responsibilities:
· Managing project progress and keep leadership informed of progress.
· Ensuring projects meet deadlines.
· Managing relationships with clients and stakeholders.
· Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation.
· Participating in tender process i.e., design, submission, and review.
· Designing risk mitigation plan and Develop risk log.
· Optimising and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary, establishing work measurement programs and analysing work processes.
· Securing growth opportunities and initiating new projects, and ensure the right solution and path are proposed, with enough evidence to gain leadership support.
· Provide expert knowledge to initially define the project and who needs to be involved in planning and evaluation.
· Define scope of work and deliverables.
· Gather business requirements.
· Develop and set project plan, monitoring if the project is proceeding according to plan.
· Establish shared document repository.
· Draft, finalize and deliver Project Charter.
· Facilitate team accountability meetings.
· Deliver regular status reports.
· Provide closeout documentation, including lessons learned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
· Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience (Electrical Diploma/Trade Certificate)
· 2-3 years experience in multi-disciplinary projects
· PMI/PMP Certification preferred
· Experience developing and managing project schedules, preferably using Microsoft Project
· Solid experience in business process mapping
· Experience in change management and project management methodologies
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and mastery of Microsoft Project
· Ability to manage multiple projects and customers at the same time and manage competing priorities.
· Ability to drive results through a multi-disciplinary team with matrixed reporting relationships
· Ability to lead and facilitate stakeholders and internal workshops and session
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $100,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
