Position
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Language Teacher to join our team. This is a full time, ongoing position working from our Maddingley Campus, located in Bacchus Marsh. The successful applicant will be required to teach English classes to Middle and Senior year levels, along with teaching VCE English Language. Previous experience teaching in VCAA’s VCE English Language course is essential or Linguistics Teacher position (UK).
Salary ranges between $80,241 to $120,321 per annum plus superannuation, depending on the successful applicant’s skills, qualifications, and years of teaching experience, as per the Bacchus Marsh Grammar Enterprise Agreement 2022.
Position will commence from Term 1, 2024.
Key Selection Criteria
The successful applicant will have:
• Appropriate teaching qualifications, with an ability to become registered in Victoria as a Teacher;
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching English;
• Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration or Australian interstate equivalent;
• First Aid Certificate; and
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Previous experience teaching the VCAA’s VCE English Language course is essential.
NOTE: English as a second language or additional language teachers need not apply.
