Reading and interpreting drawings and sites to successfully complete works to a high standard
• Assessing installation requirements, planning and performing installations, relocation, and repair of telecommunications equipment, feeder/ cabling / antennae, and associated ancillary equipment
• Installation, relocation, and removal of tower/pole mounted equipment as per design
• Testing and maintenance of telecommunications equipment mounted on high structures, including radio towers
• Fault-finding
• Adjusting, replacing and repairing faulty items
• Termination of telecommunications cables of various types and sizes
• Testing of cables for compliance with specifications
• Following all Client and Industry specifications, standards and HSE guidelines
• Relevant documentation on completions of works including photographic documentation as required
• Ensuring all paperwork is job coded and is correctly submitted to head office in a timely manner
• Co-ordinating with other contractors when required
