This is an exciting time to join NRW Civil & Mining. Due to continued growth NRW Civil and Mining are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Planning Engineer to join the high performing team on our Civil projects on a full-time basis.
To be considered for this position you must possess the following as a minimum:
• 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role or a related discipline
• Relevant Diploma qualification – highly desired but not essential
• Ability to build strong internal and external relationships
• A strong safety focused approach to delivering your work
• Excellent communication skills with effective organisational skills
As a Planning Engineer on our Project, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
• Analysing qualitative or quantitative data, drawing conclusions, and making recommendations for action regarding planning/scheduling
• Establishing client relationships, making group presentations, and communicating effectively with site personnel
• Coordinating and developing detailed project schedules
• Producing detailed cause and effect programming analysis to support delay and disruption claims submitted to the client
• Reviewing, planning and scheduling documentation to identify ambiguities, risks and key issues to be considered by the Project team
• Providing planning advice and expertise to both internal and external partners
• Building positive working relationships with client contacts and ensuring smooth and efficient delivery of Project objectives
• Assisting Management with the implementation of protocols, procedures, and performance metrics to achieve set planning targets
