PAINTING TRADES PERSON position available in NSW

Ideal applicants will possess the following:
• At least 3 years’ experience
• Trade Certificate –Certificate III in Surface Preparation or equivalent
• Coal Board Medical / BMA Health Assessment
• Construction Induction (White or Blue Card)
• Working at Heights
• Working in Confined Space
• Current Drivers Licence (MR or HR class is desirable)
• High Risk Licence for EWP and/or Forklift (desirable)
• MSIC Card (desirable)
• Must have great work ethics and the ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
• Understand surface preparation and finishes.
• Be able to understand and complete works to specifications.
• Be able to mix to correct ratio two-part paint coatings etc.
• Select paints, varnishes and stains to various surfaces using brushes, sprays, and rollers.
• Understand the use of Wet Film Thickness Gauges and be able to achieve specified dry film thickness.
• Be able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Erecting scaffolding and ladders.
• Cleaning equipment and work areas.

Salary: Guaranteed annual earnings of at least $70,000 + Super
