We are seeking highly skilled and experienced PAINTING TRADES PERSON to join our team of professionals on a full-time and permanent basis.
The successful candidates must have a positive and enthusiastic attitude. Candidates are expected to be able to work safely with minimal supervision and must demonstrate quality workmanship which meets or exceeds business requirements.
To be considered for the Role, applicants must:
• Professional paint finishes on all sizes and types of heavy equipment.
• Understand surface preparation and finishes
• Be able to understand and complete works to specifications.
• Be able to mix to correct ratio two-part paint coatings etc.
• Select paints, varnishes and stains to various surfaces using brushes, sprays, and rollers.
• Understand the use of Wet Film Thickness Gauges and be able to achieve• specified dry film thickness.
• Be able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Erecting scaffolding and ladders.
• Cleaning equipment and work areas.
• Outstanding communication skills
• The ability to work as rostered and be on time is ESSENTIAL
• The capacity to paint successfully to specification with a spray gun (Mainly pump and hand guns)
• The ability to produce a near automotive finish for mobile plant and equipment
• The ability to Produce a quality finish always
• Work in a professional and safe manner
• Understanding of WHS requirements compliance, and the correct use of PPE
• Great problem-solving skills
• Car license
• Forklift license preferable
• The ability to follow instructions and ask questions to clarify

Salary: Guaranteed annual earnings of at least $70,000 + Super
