About the role
Mater’s Data & Digital Solutions team has an exciting opportunity for an Integration Technical Lead looking after our Enterprise Integration. Reporting into the Product Manager – Enterprise Integration this role will see you oversee Mater’s development capabilities and relative solutions.
This is a full-time position on a 12-month contract and full-time position where you will collaborate closely with technical stakeholders to enable ongoing optimisation of interoperability platform.
Salary: Commensurate with experience plus superannuation and access to salary packaging
What you’ll be doing
As our Integration Technical Coach you will:
Lead scoping & planning activities for projects including review of business requirements with the relevant stakeholders to identify optimum target solution
Lead the documentation of technical specifications and solutions, including architecture and designs
Lead the development of frameworks used for documenting technical specifications and solutions
Lead establishment of policies & principles in relation to change & release management
Training and mentoring of team members on agreed standards, technology adoption and skill gaps
Lead identification of continuous improvement opportunities
Lead investigation and resolution of issues, incidents and opportunities
Ensure that relevant technical strategies, policies, standards and practices are applied correctly in the solution developed
Deliver complex solutions in all stages of software development life cycle
Lead code reviews
Contribute to technical or business forums and working groups internal to Mater
Lead the management and resolution of complex production issues and incidents
Assist in managing and leading design and development of small to medium sized projects
Coordinate with other integration specialists (onshore or offshore) towards delivery needed for projects
Assist in undertaking interviews and orientation of new employees
Continually monitor and refine the products while in use
Provide On-Call support when required
About you
We are searching for someone who is/has:
Tertiary qualifications computer science or a related study, or equivalent experience
Prior experience in the Health Industry (highly desirable)
ITIL Foundation Certification (highly desirable)
Demonstrated experience in designing & creating interfaces in an enterprise environment using technologies such as - HL7, REST, FHIR, SOAP, API
Experienced in Intersystems Health Share / IRIS platform, Intersystems Health Share patient Index and has strong knowledge on patient Master Index
Strong knowledge in developing and securing API interfaces and has understanding of Open API
Demonstrated experience in using CI/CD and deployment tools such as Octopus, Azure Pipelines, Jenkins, GitHub
Ability to program in various programming languages – C# /. Net / Java based technologies / Python
Experience in using source control tools such as GitHub, Azure Repos, Bit Bucket
Expert written and verbal communication skills
Experienced working in Agile, Waterfall delivery models
Experience in IRIS IAM - API platform
Proven experience working in Azure Integration tech stack - Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure APIM
Experienced in Rhapsody
Customer focused and driven to provide solutions to problems
