THE OPPORTUNITY
- Commercial Title: Core Packet Engineer (Full-time)
- Occupation: Telecommunications Network Engineer (ANZSCO: 263312)
Core Packet Engineer, you will help to realize high-end technology solutions for our clients. Manage the implementation of product configuration, design, user interface, technology integration. Moreover, in this hands-on role you will engage in building and maintaining client relationships and provide thought leadership.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan the implementation of the product configuration / integration work; Execute product configuration;
- Execute integration and migration work;
- Prepare system test, module test and acceptance tests; Work to identify and drive improvements;
- Execute tests; scripting & coding;
- Participate in post-project activities;
- Design and implement Telco technologies including Smart Networks, Mobile Networks (3G, 4G, LTE, 5G), Mobile Technologies, Network Virtualisation, Evolved Packet Core, Telco Cloud, Internet of Things (m2m).
- Translate customer (internal, external or regulatory) needs and requirements, using technical principles into realisable products, services, or systems and/or networks infrastructure in a timely, quality and cost effective way to ensure operational success.
- Compliance with laws, regulations, standards and procedures pertinent to the telecommunications industry
- Liaise with ICT professionals namely, telecommunications engineers in the process of developing telecommunications systems and determining appropriate network configurations and specifications
- Research evolving trends and updates in the telecommunications sector and monitor existing systems with a view to evaluating any scope for upgrades and improvements to ensure streamlined connectivity across entire commercial ICT networks
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 years of work experience in the role is essential. Relevant Bachelor Degree
- Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
- Exceptional ability to create innovative telecommunications network solutions including, a capacity to independently troubleshoot network abnormalities Superior understanding of complex technical features and ability to design, install and manage telecommunications solutions

- Offering $55,000 - $120,000 package (dependent on experience)
