• Working collaboratively with the other organization to provide exceptional service to our customers. Services include corrective & preventative maintenance, commissioning & installation of equipment and software & hardware upgrades.
• Actively participating in providing expert technical support throughout the entire life cycle of our customer relationships (implementation and post-sales support).
• Providing best-in-class service to our customers with technical support, maintenance, and repairs on equipment.
• Determining the most cost-effective repair/solution to minimize customer downtime.
• Maintaining a high level of knowledge through continual training and development and keeping up to date with new technologies relevant to your area of focus and taking on new technology.
• Creation of service reports and customer documentation
• Monitor external maintenance, analyze malfunctions and perform troubleshooting
• Responsible for meeting daily service needs and driving customer satisfaction
• Repairs, and maintains equipment in the field; provides customer training as required.
• Documents all inspections, maintenance, repair work and submits paperwork in a timely basis
• Order, install, and return parts and manages repair parts cycle time
• Reviews all logs for open issues and prepares formal reports to customers as necessary.
• Participates in Service sales opportunities and assists with promoting and implementing revenue programs.
• Ensures that tools and test equipment are properly maintained and calibrated
• Assesses product/equipment performance based on field support data; recommends modifications or improvements where applicable.
• Seeks to provide technical support to customers and other service professionals as required.
• Exercises every available measure to control and minimize costs.
• Comply with and ensure department compliance with Company health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Other duties as required.
· Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, and comply with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
· Interpret electronic and mechanical drawings to assist in equipment repair
· Perform all levels of electronic preventive maintenance


The role will normally be located at Tasmania.


Essential Skills, Experience & Background:

• Knowledgeable in safety requirements for major turnaround and maintenance activities.
• Relevant qualification in Electrical, electronics, ICT or computer systems engineering background.
• Hands-on experience with electronic equipment.
• 3-4 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Passion for helping organizations assess and deliver security, risk, strategy, and technology.
• Proactive, professional, collaborative, and personable approach.
• Team-oriented and skilled in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and technical communication skills.
• Skills in developing technical reports.
• Interest in exploring emerging technology and applications.
• Calmness under pressure.
