As the Lead QA Engineer & Release Manager (Salesforce Commerce Cloud), you will play a pivotal role in overseeing, managing quality, and orchestrating release processes for our Salesforce Commerce Cloud projects. Salary Range $85000-$95000. Closing date 4 January 2024
Key Responsibilities:
• Quality Assurance Leadership: Work directly under the Director of Delivery, driving the implementation and execution of quality standards.
• Test Plan Management: Define processes, schedule milestones, and ensure all development tasks adhere to our high-quality standards.
• Release Coordination: Own the scheduling of Commerce Cloud releases and maintain a seamless coordination amongst diverse teams.
• Testing Expertise: Lead diverse testing types, from functional to performance, ensuring the quality of Salesforce Commerce Cloud projects.
• Automation Focus: Drive the balance between manual and automation testing. Encourage the development of automation frameworks when needed.
• Stakeholder Communication: Share acceptance criteria and create UAT parameters, providing clarity on testing timelines.
• Customer Support: Engage in troubleshooting, data analysis, and address customer complaints and issues with finesse
• Continuous Improvement: Introduce innovative testing types/tools for Salesforce Commerce Cloud, elevating the quality of our deliverables.
• CI/CD Integration: Spearhead the integration and optimization of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring faster, more reliable releases.
• Version Control: Collaborate with development teams to manage source code branches, maintaining codebase integrity during parallel development and releases.
• Rollback Strategy: Develop and implement strategies for safe rollbacks in the event of failed deployments, minimizing disruptions and ensuring system availability.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience specifically in a Salesforce Commerce Cloud environment.
• Deep knowledge of both Site Genesis and SFRA.
• Comprehensive knowledge of various testing automation tools.
• 5+ years of cumulative experience in QA environment.
• Demonstrable leadership skills and team-oriented mindset.
