ReSource currently seek a Mechanical Engineer.
Responsibilities include:
• Capable of hardfacing carbon and alloy steels (specifically for shredding applications)
• Operate and maintain laser cutters, CNC, lathe, etc machines
• Interpret technical drawings and instructions
• Plan and manage the daily workload and priorities
• Assist with the development and implementation of procedures and checklists
• Maintain a “hands-on” role with support of the team and any contractors during works
Experience:
The successful applicant must have a minimum 3 years’ experience with an industrial background and a strong focus on industrial plant and equipment.
The following attributes will be considered a strong advantage:
• Trade certified welder/machinist
• Experience working in recycling industries highly valued
• Self-motivated and possessing a good work ethic.
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Good time management skills
• Ability to demonstrate good communication skills
• Follows HSEQ standards and procedures
• Multitask and manage multiple priorities, possess strong problem-solving skills
