BESIX Watpac are seeking a Project Engineer to join our South-East Queensland construction team. Based on a new-build correctional facility project in Woodford, this is a permanent role with a long term career opportunity across multi-disciplinary projects.
This role will be responsible for:
- Prepare and monitor project management plans, systems and registers, as delegated by the Project Manager.
- Establish and monitor quality controls as per specifications and project management plans in addition to reporting variances and rectifying quality non-conformance.
- Identify and manage project resources, including materials handling equipment, for optimum productivity.
- Assist with cost management and reporting including preparation of project reports and registers.
- Review, revise, interpret and implement all requirements listed within works programming documentation to meet contractual requirements and to ensure efficiency and productivity. Assist the Site Manager with medium term planning and programming.
- Assist with health and safety incident and compliance reports, in accordance with the contractual requirements, government legislation and internal policies and procedures.
