Swart and Sons are a multifaceted industrial services company based in Adelaide. Our heritage division urgently requires skilled solid PAINTING TRADES PERSONS for ongoing work.
Duties and Tasks Required :
• Operating a variety of equipment, including blast pots, spray guns, rotor stator pumps and dry spray pumps – both safely and environmentally friendly
• Mixing paint / coatings to desired colour and consistency
• Able to apply all types of coatings (ie epoxy, polyurethane) using various application methods
• General construction industry training (white card)
• Work autonomously and as part of a team, as required
• Understand surface preparation and finishes.
• Be able to understand and complete works to specifications.
• Be able to mix to correct ratio two-part paint coatings etc.
• Select paints, varnishes and stains to various surfaces using brushes, sprays, and rollers.
• Understand the use of Wet Film Thickness Gauges and be able to achieve specified dry film thickness.
• Be able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Erecting scaffolding and ladders.
• Cleaning equipment and work areas.
Salary: Guaranteed annual earnings of at least $70,000 + Super
