Seeking energetic, fast and skilled bakers, ideally with experience in pastry.

Some of your duties include:

• Prepares, produces, and bakes pastries, breads, rolls, cakes and similar according to provided recipe sheets.
• Develops and trials new products for the business as requested by the owners.
• Decorates baked goods, such as mini muffins and birthday cakes, using a pastry bag.
• Measures or weigh flour or other ingredients to prepare batters, doughs, fillings, or whipped cream, using scales or graduated containers.
• Prepare garnishes as needed for baked goods.
• Cleans, breaks down, and puts away all baking equipment including: ovens, mixers, proofer, floors, freezer, and refrigerators.

Please only apply if you can attend an interview, can start within 2 -3 weeks and easily commute to the highway side of industrial Narangba (Helium St). Ideally you are an experienced baker with experience in pastries and fast paced bakeries.

Ideally we are seeking fit and healthy candidates for this role due to heavy lifting (up to 25kg)

Experience in the use of a Bratt Pan would be ideal for the savoury kitchen but not essential.

Full time hours from Monday to Friday (no standard weekends or public holidays expected) until fully trained and confident. Once trained we'd like you to join the PM (afternoon shift) baking team where over time hours can be accrued.
