Salary : $70,000 - $85,000 a year
The Buffs club is an Award-winning Club located in Regional North Queensland in Mount Isa. They are dedicated to the community through the facilities and services provided.
Buffs Club is currently looking for hardworking and dedicated Chefs to join their team.
Skills, Duties, and Responsibilities:
- Skills in preparing different variety of cuisine
- Creativity and high presentation standards
- Ability to create dishes with consistency
- Skilled in preparing, seasoning, and cooking food according to recipes
- Ability to contribute to menu planning
- Understanding of food safety and OHS requirements
- Train and manage cooks and kitchen staff
- Achieving all safety, hygiene and food quality
- Should be able to manage daily kitchen operations including ordering.
To be considered for the position you must possess the following:
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Relevant qualifications in commercial cookery
- Ability to excel in a high-volume, high-pressure environment
- Proactive, energetic and shares a passion for the hospitality industry
- Possess effective communication skills with an approachable manner
