Position: Radio Telecommunications Technician
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $70,000 to $80,000 plus superannuation per annum
Location: Adelaide SA 5000
Our client has a solid client base and ongoing work within this expanding services industry. We are seeking a full-time Radio Telecommunications Technician with good work ethic.
Tasks required include:
Responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance and upgrades on base station equipment in the radio, mobiles and wireless industry.
Requirements:
• Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in relevant field
• At least three years of relevant experience and/or relevant vendor certification may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above
• At least three (3) years’ experience as a Telecommunications Technician within the Mobiles wireless industry.
• Ability to read and understand "For Construction" site work plans and wiring diagrams.
• Have a good understanding of DC electrical wiring and systems
• Willingness to work Overtime and away when required
• BTS knowledge, preferably on multi-vendor equipment
• Microwave Link experience
• Fiber Transmission experience
• PSU Installation and commissioning experience
• Experience with Site Master, OTDR, BER Testing, Fiber Testing & Cleaning, Fiber Splicing
• Tower climbing and working @ heights experience
• Self-motivation and team work approach
• Computer literate and have excellent communication skills
• Current Driver's Licence (Mandatory)
• Construction industry White Card (Preferred)
• First Aid with current CPR (Preferred)
• Working @ Heights Certification (Preferred)
• Tower Rescue Certification (Preferred)
