As the Manager, Events & Partnerships you will build strategic partnerships and deliver unforgettable experiences and events. Reporting to the EGM, Marketing & Communications, this will be a strategic and hands on role that will increase the brand presence in the market.

Key Accountabilities
Planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events, including client entertainment, B2B networking, industry conferences and not-for-profit engagement.
Developing and nurturing strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, sponsors, and vendors.
Creating and managing event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and high-quality execution.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless event logistics and successful outcomes, with a focus on sales.
Leading post-event evaluations and reporting to measure the success of events against established goals.
Keeping abreast of marketing and industry trends to bring innovative ideas to the planning and execution of events.
Occasionally representing the company at industry events and networking opportunities.
Plan, coordinate and communicate consolidated external events calendar
Ensure all stakeholders are aware of events purpose, opportunities, business benefits and investment.
Ensure that all events are managed professionally.

Knowledge | Skills | Abilities
Proven experience (10+ years) in event management and sponsorship or partnership development.
Previous experience in sports partnerships is desirable.
Strong organisational and project management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A creative and strategic mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
A proactive attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional results to all stakeholders.
Ability to lead projects, communicate and gain buy in from various stakeholders.
Experience of negotiating with and influencing decision makers.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
