Lake St Clair Lodge (www.lakestclairlodge.com.au) is a small resort accommodation business located in the heart of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area. Offering 42 cabins, restaurant, cafe, bar and water ferry service on Australia's deepest lake.
Reporting directly to the Tourism and Operations Manager, we are seeking a Rooms Division Executive to work within the team to to creating, deliver and and maintain a unique guest experience.
Being a small site, the position may also be required to assist in all other positions from time to time.
As the Rooms Division Executive your key responsibilities will be:
Proven experience as housekeeper or front desk attendant (at supervisory level);
directing and overseeing reception and housekeeping activities
supervising security arrangements, and garden and property maintenance
assessing and reviewing customer satisfaction
overseeing purchasing activities and maintaining stock control
Strong organisational skills;
Self-starting with attention to detail;
Ability to enhance the guest experience through accommodation services;
Experience in providing accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports as directed by the Tourism and Operations Manager;
Full understanding of HAZOPs and relevant regulations related to OH&S
Excellent presentation and grooming standards
Required skills and qualifications for this role are:
Manual drivers licence;
Prior experience in housekeeping;
experience in HAZOP
Friendly mannerisms and fluent in English
Desired qualifications / skills
Current senior first aid and CPR
Familiarity with the tourism industry
Multi-lingual

Please note that this position requires weekend work and grooming standards apply.
This is a remote living position (5kms from site, 2.5 hrs from Hobart) and you will be provided with subsidized accommodation and meals (whilst working).
Due to location this role would not be suitable for anyone with school aged children.
