The role of an Aircraft Painter at Douglas Aerospace will involve:
- Paint stripping preparation and painting of metallic and composite aircraft surfaces
- Application of corrosion prevention processes and materials
- Preparation and use of aircraft support equipment
- Identification and ordering of paint equipment and materials
- Maintenance of spray painting equipment
- Amendment and maintenance of technical publications
- Stencilling and application of tapes and decals. Apply aircraft livery and schemes
The successful applicant will have:
- At least 2 years' experience in vehicle painting, aircraft painting preferred
- Appropriate trade qualification in vehicle painting or aircraft or similar
- Ability to work under the highest level of quality control
- Have or be able to apply for an ASIC
- Driver's licence
- Strong work ethic
- Positive attitude

Applicants with a trade qualification and experience from other industries are encouraged to apply. A salary between the range of $70,000-$90,000 will be offered, dependent on skills and experience.
