Solenis solves tough water treatment, process improvement and hygiene challenges for customers in consumer, industrial, institutional, food and beverage, and pool and spa water markets through people, experience and technology.
They require a Maintenance Engineer (Planner) to join their team in Kwinana, Western Australia.
In addition to developing maintenance planning strategies and schedules, the incumbent will coordinate and monitor the maintenance of all plant equipment and be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:
- Calibrate and monitor plant equipment to maximise efficiency and meet site/plant goals and KPIs;
- Determine planning strategies required to maintain machinery and all equipment to prevent machinery malfunctions;
- Ensure timely implementation and coordination of all maintenance requirements, including repair, transport and storage of plant equipment spares;
- Identify machinery faults and breakdowns and prioritise plant/equipment repairs;
- Liaise with production and logistics teams onsite to improve operational and maintenance standards in the plant;
- Manage and supervise maintenance teams and contracted labour, and plan all work of the maintenance staff based on priority, quantity of equipment and sill of personnel;
- Oversee parts and tools inventory and keep a maintenance log for all plant/equipment;
- Plan, execute and evaluate effectiveness of maintenance activities;
- Provide cost estimates to the Manager for required plant/equipment repairs and upkeep according to the site budget;
- Schedule testing and inspections of all plant/equipment to ensure adherence to required health and safety policies and government regulations.
To be considered you will need a relevant AQF Diploma equivalent qualification and at least two years of relevant post-qualification employment experience as a Maintenance Planner OR at least 3 years of relevant employment experience as a Maintenance Planner.
