Duties and Responsibilities: Site safety, plant and power tool safety.
Study specifications in blueprint, sketches site conditions to prepare project layoutand determine dimensions and materials required;? All procedures associated with 1st & 2nd Fixing;? Manual lifting & handling;? Cut timber & other materials with hand & power tools, nail & assemble cut & shaped parts;? Erect framework;? Assemble and fasten materials to make framework and props, using hand tools andwood screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue; Install structures and move into position; Erect scaffolding for assembling of structures;? Construction of the forms including placement of required supports / propping,connection of shutters via z-bars, levelling of wall and induction of pour height;? Explain and enforce Occupational Health and Safety requirements and other industrialsafety matters; Maintain a safe and clean work environment; Instruct onsite personnel of lesser experience;
High levels of safety and quality, company site rules include long sleeve hi-vis, long pants, safety boots, gloves, safety glasses and hard hat.
