Job Summary:
As an MR Licence Truck Driver and 3PL Warehouse Assistant at TGL Think Global Logistics, you will have a multifaceted role that combines the responsibilities of a Truck Driver with those of a 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) Warehouse Assistant. You will be responsible for driving our MR-class vehicles, delivering goods, and actively participating in warehouse operations.
Location: 150 Milperra Road, Revesby NSW 2212
Working days: Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm,
Additional Early morning & Late night shift for Overtime rate for extra earning opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Truck Driver and 3PL Warehouse Assistant Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain MR-class trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Transport goods and materials to and from specified locations, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle's safety and report any issues.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logbooks and trip reports.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and team members.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods as necessary.
• Handle delivery documentation and obtain necessary signatures.
• Assist in the receiving, storing, and organizing of goods within the warehouse.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and proficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Perform inventory counts and update records in the warehouse management system.
• Assist in cycle counting, stock replenishment, and stock rotation.
• Collaborate with warehouse team members to achieve daily operational goals.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working in the warehouse.
Qualifications:
• Valid MR driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proven 2-3 years’ experience as an MR Licence Truck Driver.
• Police Check required
• Forklift operation certification is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling goods.
• Good physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects.
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems is a plus.
• Safety-conscious and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
