Little and Large Carpentry PTY LTD is expanding to the residential sector. Now as a builder, we are undertaking our own development projects.
We are looking for a qualified joiner / carpenter who is keen to apply their workmanship and skill to interesting and diverse projects (from commercial to residential).
You will be working in apartment projects, kitchen assembly/installation to assisting us with house builds from the ground up.
Caulfield/Bentleigh East location, close public transport.
Qualifications & Requirements:
-AQF IV or three years experience as a carpenter/joiner
-Take pride in your work
-Willing to travel and be away from home at times
-Able to work in a team and unsupervised
-Join prefabricated units together for large sections of high rise/residential projects
-Safety conscious
-Reliable
The successful candidate would have:
-A trade qualification as a cabinet maker or similar plus relevant experience (at least 3 years)
-High level attention to detail
-A can-do attitude and thrive on working to deadlines
-Knowledge and experience constructing custom projects or an interest in building these
-Set out and construct roofs, install floors, stairs and windows
-Conduct Safe Work practices
-White card
-Pay negotiable depending on skills and experience.
Full time employment
Salary range: AUD70,000 to AUD90,000
Work schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8 hour shift.
Work location: Caulfield North, Bentleigh East.
Supplemental pay types: Overtime pay
Ability to commute/relocate: job location Bentleigh East, Caulfield South, VIC
