The Head of Gaming Operations partners with the Operations, Commercial, Technology and Compliance teams and other cross functional businesses across Endeavour, to provide leadership and coordination, support, guidance and coaching for the successful development and execution of our Gaming Strategy and 10 Year Vision. 

This role has direct oversight and overarching responsibility through the Gaming Operations team and key partners for: the implementation of initiatives to deliver our strategic and operational plans; meeting our compliance, risk and assurance requirements, and; ensuring successful business outcomes through stakeholder engagement when planning venue facing initiatives.

As the leader of Gaming in ALH, this role is accountable for the overarching end to end Gaming performance in/of ALH, including market performance and Gaming room design and development. This role is also accountable for the development of ALH’s digital gaming and social gaming vision and working with the ALH SLT and broader Endeavour Group to gain alignment and support for this.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

  • Define and deliver ALH’s Gaming Strategy and Gaming 10 year vision, including Digital gaming & social gaming vision, working collaboratively with key stakeholders.
  • Communicate and build team commitment to the Gaming strategy and business initiatives, creating alignment, direction and role clarity, with the key partners of the Gaming business - Commercial, Operations, Technology and Compliance.
  • Drives Gaming performance nationally through leading the Gaming Operations Team in implementing gaming initiatives, looking for improvements and opportunities, competitor analysis, machine placement and jackpot optimisation.
  • Works collaboratively with Compliance to ensure that the appropriate frameworks and training are in place to deliver responsible gaming experiences for our guests, that meet all regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the other key driver owners to ensure that ALH are delivering a well rounded guest experience (Head of Commercial Growth, Head of Beverages, Group Executive Chef).
  • Develop people through coaching, mentoring and performance management.
