Newhaul is in search of a proactive individual to step into the newly created role of Regional Asset Management Specialist. In this critical role, the successful candidate will take a proactive approach in overseeing our expanding operations within the Mid-West region of WA.
We are looking for applicants with a proven ability to lead and drive change, and who can demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of compliance in the heavy vehicle industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support for new site start-ups to ensure that our operational and maintenance strategies are executed as planned.
- Execute equipment optimisation projects, ensuring on-site presence to monitor progress, conduct regular check-ins, and achieve desired outcomes.
- Oversee the delivery and commissioning of new equipment, managing the readiness of high-volume assets on order.
- Conduct on-site inspections to ensure equipment is fit for purpose.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in incident investigations, providing technical expertise with a focus on equipment-related incidents.
- Ensure compliance and lead initiatives for equipment specification changes and upgrades.
- Ensure companies maintenance practices reflect OEM, client and current industry standards.
- Manage warranty work and credit for OEM contracts, maximising the benefits and ensuring proper payment.
- Oversee core return management and credit processes.
- Provide technical assistance to operational teams, working closely with Operations to address equipment-related issues.
- Manage electronic diagnosis and telematics maintenance tooling, coordinating training and subscriptions.
- Offer day-to-day technical advice for equipment-related issues to site maintenance teams, especially for new sites.
The role can be based primarily out of our Perth office or Geraldton office.
Regular travel to project sites within the Mid-West region of WA will be a necessary aspect of this role.
