As a Business Intelligence Manager at Guzman y Gomez, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our strategies and enhancing our competitive advantage through data-driven insights. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will lead the development and execution of business intelligence initiatives, collaborating with cross function teams to gather, analyse, and derive actionable insights.
What you can expect in the role
- Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations, relevant to operations
- Generate actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support strategic decision-making processes
- Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reports for key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, inventory, customer behaviours, market trends
- Undertake customer analysis to understand diverse customer groups, their preferences and purchase behaviours
- Analyse sales data, labour patterns, and trends to forecast guest demand accurately. Use these forecasts to support optimized crew levels
- Conduct research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats in the retail and QSR landscape
- Collaborate with leadership, commercial insights, operations, supply chain, and marketing teams to develop data-driven strategies
- Provide recommendations to optimize inventory levels, improve sales forecasting and enhance overall operational efficiency
- Collaborate closely with marketing to implement data-driven approaches to measure the impact of marketing efforts on sales conversion rates, customer acquisition and customer retention
- Foster a data-drive culture within the organisation, promoting the use of business intelligence tools and techniques
- Oversee data collection, integration, and storage processes, ensuring data, quality and consistency
- Implement data governance practices and policies to maintain data security, privacy and compliance with industry standards and regulations
You will be successful in this role if you have
- A Bachelors degree in Business, Analytics, or related field
- Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Manager, preferably in the retail industry
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Proficient in data visualization tools and business intelligence platforms
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross functionally
