Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payments
- Monitor and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Assist with budgeting and financial reporting
- Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends and variances
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on financial matters
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management and regulatory bodies
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the finance department
- Process Payroll
- Process and Manage NDIS Funding Claims
- Process NDIS Payment Queries
- Process and Manage Accounts Payable and Receivables.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a finance role
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Experience working in the disability sector or a similar industry is highly desirable
