Stevie Redback Pest and Termite Control has an exciting opportunity for an organised efficient and experienced Estimator to join our pre-construction team in Clontarf. In this role you will be responsible for these key areas:
- Provide termite management solutions to customers that ensure they comply with relevant legislation, Australian standards and building codes.
- Calculate and estimate preconstruction material required for installing termite management systems on building sites for construction companies.
- Estimations include all necessary materials, labour rates and unforeseen discrepancies in building plans.
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, architects, builders, plumbers, concreters and other building professionals on estimates
- Consult with industry experts and our internal operations team to discuss estimates, resolve issues and adhere to agreed installation schedules.
- Develop new and maintain existing relationships with customers and industry professionals in addition to your internal colleagues.
You will have skills and experience including:
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential
- A thorough understanding of the types of building and architectural plans
- Technical knowledge in building structures and relevant codes
- This job offers a high degree of autonomy, therefore the ability to plan, organise and achieve high results is essential
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Full Australian Drivers Licence
- Being able to travel to regional and inter-state areas as sales opportunities require
