- Seeking a qualified and experienced Exploration Geologist
- Working across Perth & remote areas of regional WA

Due to an increase in workload, RSC Global Pty Ltd are seeking to appoint an Exploration Geologist to join our team on a permanent basis for work in Perth and remote areas of regional WA. This is a full-time role but rosters may be varied at short notice to suit the needs of the employer.
The Role
Reporting to a senior geologist, to be considered for this role you will require the following attributes and experience as a minimum:
- Minimum Master’s degree in Geology;
- At least three years’ experience in the Australian exploration industry, with two years working in the Pilbara Craton region of WA on gold and base metals projects;
- At least 6 months drilling experience (RC, AC and diamond), including rig supervision, logging, Geotech and sampling;
- At least 18 months experience with geological mapping (including rock chipping), soil and stream sediment sampling;
- Experience with helicopter assisted exploration work in isolated locations;
- Experience with JORC compliant QA/QC processes;
- Flexibility to work in all commodities including gold, iron ore, coal, uranium and mineral sands;
- Experience using portable XRF equipment including data acquisition and data interpretation;
- Proficient in the use of specialist exploration software packages including QGIS, ArcMAP and, Micromine;
- Experience undertaking 3D drone surveys and orthophoto acquisition;
- Be willing to work up to 12 hour days in remote areas, average 38 hours/week;
- Willing to work in remote areas with no/very limited internet and mobile phone coverage;
- Able to cook for self and other team members;
- Need to be willing to undertake a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol testing (as required);
- Hold a current Remote First Aid Certificate;
- Have completed 4WD training;
- Hold a Radiation safety and apparatus certificate;
- Have a current WA Police clearance; and
- Hold a full, clean manual WA driver’s licence.
