- Diploma in Early Childhood is essential (or working towards)
- Bachelor or Masters Degree in Early Childhood is desirable (but not essential)
- Current working with Children's Check or willingness to obtain
- Current First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain
- Someone who has knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Framework (NQF) & National Quality Standards (NQS) and how to practically apply these in programming and interactions with children, staff and parents
- Someone who can develop creative educational programs that make learning fun for the kids, based on best possible research sources, catering to the diversity of children and their individual/ collective needs
- A person with a collaborative spirit, open to working with other professionals & support services within the community to allow each child to fully participate
- Evaluation & maintenance of relevant records
- Leading in the adherence to, maintenance & creation of relevant policies & procedures
