Beautiful 110 seat restaurant set around a feature fireplace with comfy Chesterfield seating area.
Beer garden with children’s play area.
Main street frontage in the heart of town.
Restaurant bar showcasing the best in local wine and Australian craft beer.
Assistant Restaurant Manager Key Skills And Requirements:
Previous experience in restaurant management within quality dining room & bar service.
Ability to create and foster great customer relationships.
Wine and beverage knowledge and service.
Staff rostering, training and hands on team supervision.
An understanding of OH&S requirements and compliance.
Ability to be pro-active and self-sufficient. The role will have a good deal of autonomy.
Strong marketing skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft office applications.
Management of restaurant bookings and function enquiries though multiple booking streams.
Skilled in relevant financial management IE: Labour, gross profits, COGS, stock rotation and management.
This is a full-time management position reporting and working closely with the General Manager. As a family run business, we value and reward hard work, going the extra mile, positivity, flexibility and creativity.

The George Bar & Dining is an integral part of the Lake George Hotel. An established family run business located in the heart of the beautiful town of Bungendore only 25 minutes from Canberra. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner service five days a week Wednesday - Sunday as well as most NSW public holidays.

Salary: $75,000 PA + Super
