The Ambry is now looking for an experienced Chef to join their team.
The right candidate will be responsible for:
Manage pass, call orders and make sure all dishes come at the same time;
Garnish and plate food and ingredients;
Deal with suppliers and managers for stock ordering and returns;
Weigh and mix ingredients for sauces, emulsions and reductions;
Supervise special preparations for dietary needs and allergies;
Ensure health and safety regulations are always followed;
Plan menus and specialties with Restaurant Manager;
Prepare various types of pasta and sauces in accordance to menus;
Slice, cut and steam fruit and vegetables for sides and entrees;
Grill, fry, roasting and boiling steaks, fish and other types of meat;
Supervise staff members to ensure food is cooked properly and in a timely manner;
Manage stock rotation, in order to utilize older stock first;
About you:
At least 3 years of experience as a Chef;
Strong cooking skills and ability to work unsupervised;
Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
Ability to multitask;

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000
