We have an opportunity for an immediately available Senior Financial Accountant to work for 6 months on a variety of projects and assist with half-year financial statement reporting. This is an opportunity to continue to learn and develop your accounting career working onsite 2-3 days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with month-end close procedures and processing of journals
- Involved in the half-yearly close consolidation and reporting process
- Assist in the preparation of financial statement reporting
- Support finance functions in processing and reporting
- Involved in projects in relation to finance processes, e.g. support requirements gathering, implementation or testing
- Research and resolve accounting issues, implementing new accounting standards for AASB/IFRS compliance
- Liaise with external auditors as part of half-year reporting
- Assistance in completion of ABS surveys.
