People Operations & Services Lead

In this newly created role as a People Operations & Services Lead at JDE Peet’s, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day HR operations. You will be accountable for overseeing HR policy, processes, systems and projects to guarantee the effective delivery of our HR services to the business. You will report to the HR Director and join a fun team consisting of two HRBPs, a Total Rewards Manager ANZ, a Payroll Specialist, an HR & Talent Acquisition Specialist and a Facilities Specialist.

You’ll be based in our North Sydney office where we currently have a hybrid work policy (3 days WFO + 2 days WFH). You’ll also work from our roastery & office in Kingsgrove and our Campos office in Banksmeadow on a regular basis.

In this position, you will be responsible for the following activities:

  • Streamline and optimise HR processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy, including onboarding, benefits administration, engagement, employee data management and the creation and refresh of all HR templates
  • Create an overview of our current policies and design a policy matrix to ensure all our HR policies are in line with employment laws, regulations and internal guidelines
  • Oversee the local requirements of our systems and HRIS (SuccessFactors) and other HR-related software tools
  • Develop, maintain and coordinate HR metrics and reporting systems to track key HR performance indicators, analyse trends and provide actionable insights
  • Manage relationships with external vendors such as benefits providers, HR software vendors, and other service providers
  • Support the HR team with topics such as Employee Relations, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Learning & Development, Talent Management and Talent Acquisition
