Reporting to the Group Payroll Manager, the Senior Payroll Officer will ensure accurate and efficient processing of contractor pays across various Australian states and NZ locations. (Primarily ACT – 180 contractors Fortnightly & 200 contractors Fortnightly) Additionally, you will be responsible for the processing of contractor and permanent recruitment invoices.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Manage end-to-end contractor payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Administer payroll functions, including onboarding, bonuses, and adjustments.
- Maintain comprehensive payee records, covering tax, superannuation, and deductions.
- Enter and verify manual timesheets, conducting thorough payroll checks for anomalies.
- Handle monthly reconciliations, generate reports for internal use, and promptly address payroll discrepancies and contractor inquiries.
