Occupational Therapy Assistant Position Available
Belong Health is seeking a dedicated, career Therapy Assistant to join our clinical team in supporting and empowering children and teens with a diagnosed disability in a variety of programs.

What you need to become a Belong Health Therapy Assistant:
Bundles of enthusiasm, energy and confidence to adapt and be flexible
The ability to bring fun and playfulness to any situation
A passion for supporting children and their families with disabilities, developmental delays and Autism as your career
Cert 3 or above in Allied Health Assistance
Previous experience working with children or young people with disabilities, a minimum of 1-year experience in the disability, early childhood sector or school setting
The ability to work as a team player and build positive relationships
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
A professional work ethic
Confidence and competence with using computers/technology and both office and google suites
The courage to think outside the box and be solution-focused
Dedication to supporting Occupational Therapists to build children, teens and young adults independence, creativity with goal implementation with strict adherence to designated therapy programs.
A flexible working attitude
Good physical fitness and vibrant energy to keep up with busy small humans
At least 3 contactable, employment-related referees.
Experience:
Cert 3 or above in Allied Health Assistance
Licence/Certification:
Australian driver's licence (Required)
Working With Children (WWC) Check (Required)
National Police Clearance (Required)
First Aid Certificate with CPR (Required)
We specialise in supporting neurodiverse children, ASD, developmental delays, diverse needs and practice developmental, behavioural OT. Based in Falcon, WA we provide both clinic and community-based services to families living in the Rockingham to Peel region. This is a community-based role, with extensive daily travel.
