To find out more about DIPL, please copy and paste this link into your browser: https://dipl.nt.gov.au/ Your new role DIPL are looking for a Surveyor or Geospatial Professional who will be able to provide technical survey advice and services to maintain the cadastral framework, geodetic infrastructure, related records and spatial data, as well as support the land development process. Key duties and responsibilities:

Provide advice and services on cadastral and geodetic infrastructure, land development, systems, standards, policy, procedures, and digital cadastre
Analyse and adjust survey information to modernise the cadastre and geodetic framework
Maintain the integrity of land survey records, datasets, spatial systems and infrastructure
Support the approval of survey plans, implementation of land survey modernisation initiatives, technologies and techniques, and land developments.
Actively participate in the Survey team, as well as local and national working groups, by contributing innovative ideas and solutions to all aspects of business; including (but not limited to) implementation of a spatially accurate cadastre, digital plan lodgement, Aboriginal land claim surveys, and the future directions of land surveying

What you'll need to succeed * Please consider applying even if you do not meet all of the below requirements*

A degree, or working towards completing a degree, in Geospatial Science, Surveying, or equivalent
Knowledge of cadastral and/or geodetic surveying
Knowledge of measurement principles, and data collection, integration and management
Be ambitious and driven to enhance your skillset by working on national projects, being exposed to a variety of fields and adhering to governance
Be innovative and prepared to take on greater responsibilities by working as part of a multifaceted team in a contemporary office
Be adaptable, and a good communicator who can liaise with a range of stakeholders and cultures
An understanding of land development and the various geospatial and surveying issues that can impact it

What you'll get in return This role is a P2 or P1 designation, depending on the skillset of the applicant. Salary range is between $ 66,904 - $105,445 + super, pa.
