Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Menu Development:
Collaborate with the management team to create and update a diverse and appealing menu.
Stay abreast of culinary trends and incorporate innovative dishes to enhance the café's reputation.
Food Preparation:
Execute food preparation and cooking tasks according to established recipes and quality standards.
Ensure timely and consistent delivery of high-quality dishes.
Kitchen Management:
Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and organization.
Manage inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to meet demand.
Quality Control:
Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that all dishes meet the café's standards.
Address any issues promptly and implement corrective measures.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with kitchen staff to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Provide guidance and training to junior kitchen team members.
Adherence to Health and Safety Standards:
Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations and hygiene practices.
Regularly conduct safety inspections and take corrective actions as needed.
Customer Interaction:
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to address customer feedback and special requests.
Ensure a seamless flow of communication between kitchen and service staff.
Qualifications and Experience:

Proven experience as a Chef in a busy and dynamic culinary environment.
Culinary degree or relevant certification.
Knowledge of diverse cooking techniques and cuisines.
